Sportin’ Wood
Central Jersey’s own, Sportin’ Wood started out in 1993 as an acoustic trio ( Rob-bass, John-guitar, & George-guitar) with three part harmonies. Playing various bars and parties, the high energy trio adapted into a full band when Mike “the Juice” Krajewski added his virtuoso drums to complete the package. Later, Jack Sheppard added his tasteful textures and synergistic electric flavors to the mix.
Sportin’ Wood has always and ever will be a collection of musicians who take cover songs and original grooves to the next level. Whether it is epic southern rock guitar whaling Allman Brothers or a soulful R&B classic, the colors of each individual add to the abstract portrait that results for each and every show.
