Metroid Prime Pinball

Samus is an intergalactic space adventurer who has the ability to roll into a ball. Using pinball flippers you can direct Samus to buttons, ramps and attackers in search of pieces of an artifact. Sometimes Samus unrolls to use her lasers and missiles on various alien creatures, some of them quite nasty.
Video game pinball has not been so good since The Pinball Of The Dead for the GameBoy Advance. Metroid Prime Pinball is brilliantly realised; the sound FX, music gameplay and graphics are more than the sum of their parts. Speaking of parts, a rumble pack is part of the package. This plugs into the GBA slot on the DS and makes some noise rumbling. It is very effective as Samus gets slammed around the pinball table. The gameplay uses the best of pinball and video games, so while there are bumpers, multiball and realistic physics, there are also weapons, enemies and mini-bosses.
Metroid Prime Pinball is ideally suited to the Nintendo DS and its line of casual games. An average player would only last a few minutes on it while a great player could be playing it for hours. Anyone with decent reflexes will enjoy it.
