You know you’re dog dog tired when concrete becomes comfortable over sleeping on rocks. I slept like a rock from mid-might until about 6 AM. Between the constant Blackhawks passing directly over head about every four minutes. You can just imagine the number of flights coming in and out of that terminal with all the troops coming and going in and out of the country let a lone the troops moving from place to place on mission. Believe it or not I slept.
Here are my new found friends in the U.S. Air Force. Dad this ones for you. What a great group of young men and woman. It was a great day to go flying and even a better day to land. Me personally, I like the landing part. the combat egress into the airfield is always an “E-ticket”. This one was bad-ass!
