Every once in a while the guys need to take their turn at sighting on QRF.  QRF protects anyone who is out in sector and might get in to trouble.  They sit on what is called “Red Con One”, (Ready condition One).  It means they can be rolling out the gate with in seconds of the call for help, night or day.  Most of the time it is spent smoking hundreds of cigarettes, sodas and movies in the ready room. Or just sitting outside on the trucks when it’s your turn for radio watch.  Trent Robert and I try to solve the age old question... is there such thing as a doggy heaven?  And of course, plain or peanut?

 

Or of course just sleeping through it all.
