Shannon now has a new Olympus Stylus 720 SW just like mine! So I pooled the photos from our cameras and put them all together in one online album.  The better photos, of course, are hers.

This was a Chesapeake Paddler’s Association kayak camping trip to Assateague Island.  We kayaked out to Green Run campsite and we were supposed to kayak back the next morning.  But the weather turned fierce Saturday night and by Sunday morning we were looking at sustained winds of 28-35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots.  We weren’t worried about kayaking anymore ... now it was a rescue operation.

Special thanks to Bela who drove over blowing sand and through fierce winds to bring back our kayaks and gear.
