Out of the Book Tours is our way of providing our students a first class education with hands on practical experience.  Nothing teaches better as being and doing.  No matter how much we read and study the Bible or any other subject whether it be the Civil War, Reformation, Alamo, Pearl Harbor, or the sand of the ocean, actually being there makes an indelible mark in your memory about the subject.  At IFBC we like to think Out of the Book and take what we have learned in class and visit the actual places bringing the black and white page into living color.  This is a complete sensory encounter by experiencing the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the lands.  We can read all we want about Luther nailing the 95 theses to the door at Wittenberg, but to actually be at the church and see the surroundings is completely different.  Mere words cannot describe the feelings of riding horseback through Devil’s Den or the Wheatfield at Gettysburg.  Walking through the temple mount, Mount of Olives or visiting Gordon’s Tomb, will forever change how you read and study the Bible.

We welcome parents and family to participate in our tours.
