PAINTINGS OF

CORNWALL

And earlier work

The Roseland Gig Club, St Mawes

Yvonne Fuller moved to Cornwall in 1994.  Living in the seaside town of St Mawes she paints the beach scenes, landscapes and people of the unspoilt Roseland Peninsula.  She trained at Bromley College of Art and Goldsmiths' College, and her tutors included Frank Auerbach and Bernard Dunstan RA.

She painted for several years as a resident artist in Dulwich Picture Gallery where some of her water colours of gallery life were purchased for the Permanent Collection.

This led to a term as Official Artist to the British Medical Association, documenting events for the British Medical Journal, and recently as Artist to Cornwall County Council, recording the historic outbuildings at Mount Edgcumbe, prior to their refurbishment as a visitor attraction.

She has exhibited, amongst others, at the Phoenix Galleries in Lavenham and Highgate, at Sotheby's, and currently in the New Gallery Portscatho, in Tregony Gallery and in Hotel Tresanton, St Mawes, where she also designed the logo.

Having experienced deteriorating eyesight, she had successful Tetraflex replacements in 2006 enabling her again to paint without glasses.  She now sells some of her larger paintings to support eye charities doing similar operations in third world countries.

The paintings below are examples of work, many of which are for sale.  Numbers beginning with O are Oil Paintings.  To avoid damage in transit and to reduce freight charges [which are added at cost] water colours and larger oil paintings are sold unframed.  Small oils are framed either in light pine with white slip, or float mounted on white board with narrow, lime waxed moulding.
