Our hinged nests and chests come in a variety of sizes, in two styles, and are particularly suitable for use as jewellery boxes.

    Rustic - following the shape of the piece of wood, retaining its external contour,

                using external hinges (upper photos)

    Contemporary - straight sided and flat on all surfaces, using hidden internal

                hinges (lower photos)

A nest is a hinged box with a half-depth lift-out tray which sits on little internal ledges, thereby giving storage space underneath.  A chest is a hinged box with no internal tray.
