In this section you will find dreams and real life experiences which I wish to share.  I pray that the moments you spend here will be spiritually engaging.

“Jesus' manner of teaching was beautiful and attractive, and it was ever characterized by simplicity. He unfolded the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven through the use of figures and symbols with which his hearers were familiar, and the common people heard him gladly; for they could comprehend his words. There were no high-sounding words used, to understand which it was necessary to consult a dictionary. He illustrated the glories of the kingdom of God by the use of the experiences and occurrences of earth. In compassionate love and tenderness he cheered and comforted and instructed all who heard him; for grace was poured upon his lips that he might convey to men in the most attractive way the treasures of truth. “

Chapter Title: The Necessity of Doing Our Best.

Welcome to my page on the YE in ME website.

~ Under Construction ~

The purpose of this page, for me, is to put down in words a variety of experiences and dreams I have had, and to explore possible meaning relative to my religious views.  Much of this for me is an exploration of the nature and purposes of God, however from Scripture we know that there are discrete truths, which apply in universal terms, it is another matter whether in human terms we can understand the mind of God.  We were created to fellowship with God, so the capacity is there; however over the millennia, sin has degraded our capacities and moral virtues to the point where I wonder how well can we understand the nature and purposes of God?

I have wrestled over many hours regarding the things you will find on these pages.   It seems inconceivable that God would communicate to me in these terms; further, in sharing these experiences, I grow very concerned about contributing to confusion or causing reproach to be leveled upon God.  I acknowledge that I may cause either or both of these outcomes, but you reader should be aware that my intentions are far from these potentially sad end points.  Rather, I relate these things, because they have happened to me, I have come to the point where I can not explain them in terms of coincidence, or even in terms of human capacity.  I have come to believe that at least some portion of these things which I relate are of supernatural origin, but the question remains, are they of God?  Ultimately, if you choose to read these things, only you can decide.

I have and will attempt to define these dreams and experiences in terms of religious instruction, in terms of Torah in the Hebrew sense.  For this, I make no apology.  I acknowledge that I may, and likely do, miss the point of these mostly parabolic experiences; however if there is any virtue in what is found here, it is in the context of progressing upon The Way of God.  The Bible presents two path’s before us, it is up to us which path we would choose.

It is possible that I will place things here, or explore topics, that will be disturbing.  In order to avoid some confusion, it seems right to specify here, at the beginning, the principles that I believe should be guiding all Religious and Spiritual education.

Salvation is of the Jews

The words of Christ to the Samaritan woman, found in the 4th chapter of John, are a fundamental principle, simple and to the point.  Though God works for the salvation of all people in all cultures and in all times, the process and promise of salvation was to be completed through the Jewish nation.  In Abraham, and his seed, God delivered to the world the Law and the Testimony, which is a direct and divine revelation of His nature and purposes toward the fallen human race.  In the sanctuary service, through types and symbols, God revealed the legal and binding nature of the everlasting covenant he made with man, that is, to redeem man from his fallen state and to place God’s Law back into a corrupted heart.  God revealed in the pure lives and unfortunate missteps of “holy men of old” the everlasting kindness and love of His forgiving and redeeming nature.  All of the prophets up to John revealed the covenant of God, which found it’s everlasting revelation and fulfillment in the life and death of Jesus Christ.  He is the only one who brought the salvation promised from the seed of Abraham, and through whom is salvation offered to all mankind.  Through the life and death of Christ, mankind has been invited back into a harmonious relationship with God.  By faith holy men of old looked forward to the cross for healing from the poisonous sting of sin, and likewise by faith, we today can look backwards to the cross to release us from bondage to our carnal nature, and greater still, be justified to God in Christ’s righteousness.  Salvation is of the Jews.

The Law and the Testimony is alive and well

I have this title here because I intend to add some comments on this topic.  However, I want to wait until I can dedicate some time to writing up this portion.

The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom

In the Garden of Eden was planted two trees, the Tree of Life, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Unfortunately, through the sin of Adam, our inheritance is of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Subsequently, as our heritage, we have not of our own choice, been placed into the conflict between right and wrong, life and death, Christ and Satan.  But we have been given a freedom of choice, and in Christ a complete victory.  But what is that choice?

We may walk in His ways, keeping His statutes and judgments, or as the verse says we might “turn away” in our hearts and not hear the instruction of God.  In the turning is the choice, and in Scripture this choice is spoken of in both the negative and positive form.  The negative form is as above with the end result being that our hearts can no longer hear God.  The positive form is known as repentance, and is a turning back toward God, and away from sin, in this form our hearts become deaf to the call of the world.  Christ makes a very interesting statement to the Pharisees:
