I earned my B.A. in English Literature, and my M.A. in English Literature. I have also earned my Teaching Certificate from the state of Pennsylvania and attended numerous workshops and conferences in IB/Learning Differences/Writing for teacher. Currently an English Teacher at the Academy, I have been at ACS Athens since 1997. I have been a teacher of Language Arts, English and IB English A2 HL. In addition to my responsibilities as Teacher, I have been involved in a variety of positions at ACS Athens, including Oratory Coach, 10th and 12th grade Student Council Advisor, Blue and Gold Advisor, Activities Coordinator, and am a member of the NHS committee.  My mission as a teacher is to develop confidence in each and every student so that they will seek knowledge, question answers, and believe in their own abilities to become life long learners.  I support my students, listen willingly, and provide a loving environment so they can understand the bliss in learning and take pride in their accomplishments.
