I’ve had to add to this post because of the SPRING SNOW STORM we got on Tuesday. Our state motto is ‘WAIT FIVE MINUTES”. For those of you who don’t live here, that means, wait five minutes and the weather will change. Well, today, we got at least a foot if not more at our house in Castle Rock; where FireHoth works about 20 minutes from the house nothing but rain. Where my mom lives nothing but lots more rain, and on the eastern plains, we had two tornado warnings. Saturday it’s going to be 70 degrees. Welcome to Colorado. As usual, when it snows, more and more residents come to stay at Reddiker Woodes. With the new snowstorm today in Colorado, Firehoth had two stowaways in his truck. Cyruss and Camille, Cornelius brother and sister. More on them in the next few days.
Also, when we had our monthly meet on Sunday, Dolly, Cornelius sister left behind a little package at Reddiker Woodes. Her name is Poor Baby Kate. She comes from Dollphinum Manor, where Dolly lives. Well, I was so happy and so surprised by this, I just had to share her.
Poor Baby Kate is part of an ongoing Soul Breath Doll that Dolly and the Belladonna Twins capture and sell. Here is her story, as written by Dolly…

Her little book and poem reads…
Poor Baby Kate didn’t stand a chance
She was born into a family of miscreants
They bound her and gagged her and tossed her in the air
It’s a good thing she was bald or they would have pulled her hair
Her muffled screams echoed from the Past
So we brought her to the Present and snuffed her misery FAST
Then we sent her back home for the final Farewells
And to remind her siblings that they are DOOMED NE'ER DO WELLS!
The book features a scene from Alice in Wonderland. (How did Dolly know?). The second page and third page have pictures of Poor Baby Kate as she laid in mourn with her siblings. Her hands hold a tiny glass jar that contains her “soul”. She also came with a tiny silver rattle and golden spoon, held in a mesh bag.
She is being tenderly watched by Serenity, and will have a special place in Reddiker Woodes; I think she will stay in the parlor. That way all who enter will be able to pay their respects. See her, in her deathly gaze.
