The Company

Hunter Performance Group is an interdisciplinary performance group whose primary artistic mission is to expand the boundaries of dance by creating and presenting works that incorporate dance, acting and music techniques integratively.  In 2009, Whitney V. Hunter, founder and director, changed the name and redirected the focus of his, HUNTERDance Theater, from a dance company to Hunter Performance group, an interdisciplinary performance group, as a way of synthesizing his artistic interests and broadening the company’s artistic reach.  HPG plans to reach its audiences through public performance events (site-specific and formal theatrical productions), workshops, and educational outreach programs for adults and youth.
