CELIA WASHINGTON grew up in Kuwait, Aden, Cyprus & Gernany, then lived and worked in Florence, Nepal, Paris, Tokyo, Madrid, Edinbugh & London. Primarily a painter, she has done etching, screen-printing, arc-welding and documentary film-making.  In 2007 she spent seven months in Nepal as artist in residence at Kathmandu University.  Her experiences there led her to set up the Kathmandu Arts Centre Charity.
