HAMLYN, Paul

 

is an artist and illustrator who lived and worked in Nepal from 1975 to 1977.  On his return to England, he attended art school at St Martin’s (BA) and Goldsmith’s (MA).  He lives in London.

Painting my door ‘Generation’ the past inhabited me.  The apple tree by the back door elided with my remembered grandparents’s garden, early childhood in Nepal. and my first real experience of freedom.”
