Loren Beven was born in South Africa, moving to London in 1987 to study painting at Wimbeldon School of Art and later screen-printing at London School of Printmaking and Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmith's. Her residencies include London Metropolitan University and Kathmandu University where she also taught printmaking. She lives and works in Nepal. www.lorenbeven.com
