KCAC the project

The Kathmandu Contemporary Art Centre (KCAC) is a unique project to create a vibrant world-class arts centre in Nepal.*


The KCAC will have a contemporary art gallery, a large resource library, well-equipped workshops and an auditorium for lectures, film festivals and performances. There will be an active programme of foreign artists in residence and international exhibitions which will bring contemporary expression to Nepal. In return it will increase worldwide recognition for the excellence, diversity and vitality of art in Nepal today.
