Build your own slide board because commercial ones cost more than they should,

and they’re not
long enough

To make a Slide board
Purchase three 2x12's at the length you want for your slide board (10' minimum, 12' excellent, 14-16' requires exceptional one-legged power.

Screw and glue several 2x4's (every 3’) perpendicular to the 2x12’s across the bottom to hold the 2x12's together and attach rubber, so the board doesn't slip. (Rubber bartender mats can be cut for this purpose).

4x4's should be bolted with three carriage bolts, one through each 2x12 at the end, This holds the entire slide board together and acts as the bumpers at the end when you slide.

3-4 coats of polyurethane; sand between each. Sand the sheen off the final coat (fine grit on the last coat).

Spray once a month with silicone; wipe off.
Use after one week.
