For almost 35 years, our small, mother-daughter horse farm has been peacefully existing in (mostly) rural Frankfort, Illinois, about 45 minutes southwest of Chicago. Our focus has changed somewhat during those years - from heavily breeding and showing exclusively Arabians, to enjoying our Friesians and “dead broke” pony. We’ve also shifted from riding to driving, not only because you can take a friend driving with you, but also because the driving shows are so civilized, laid-back and fun.

In the past couple of years, family health issues and lack of time have caused us to cut back on the amount of time spent with the horses, and therefore the number of horses. Right now, we only have our Friesian mare, Lessa, whom we would reluctantly sell to the right person, and Patches, our Welsh-cross pinto pony who has that ‘go anywhere, do anything’ personality.
