A Graduate of Rummel High School in Metairie, LA, Jeff has been playing professionally since he decided to pass on the opportunity to play for the LSU Tigers, when he was drafted the 40th pick overall in the first round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies. After becoming a free agent in 2004, he has had the opportunity to play in the Milwaukee Brewers organization as well as, with the Philadelphia Phillies.
During the off-season, Jeff is hard at work instructing players and coaches of young and old in the Greater New Orleans area, as well as the Asheville, NC area, on how to improve their game by using state of the art professional drills, techniques and philosophies learned through many years of his playing as a professional.
For almost ten years, Jeff has had the privilege of working with some of the Major Leagues’ finest coaches and instructors such as: P.J. Carey (Phillies), Gregg Gross (Phillies), Tom Runnels (Expos), Don Money (Brewers), Buddy Bell (Rockies), Clint Hurdle (Rockies), Mike Gallego (Athletics, Yankees, Red Sox) and the professional influences go on and on.

All in all, over the past ten years, the “jewels of the diamond” Jeff has collected as a player by those who have stood atop of the proverbial mountain, have only increased his awareness and ability to be able to pass on the information, as an instructor, to those who are seeking to take their game to a higher level of competition.
