This is what it is all about! A youth team with evangelism training from Arizona wanted to go on a mission trip with purpose. A Bible school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia wanted evangelism training. God put the two together and something beautiful came about. 11 trainers from the US partnered with a handful of missionaries from Malaysia to help train 23 Cambodian Bible school students. As a result, over 40 people heard the whole gospel presented, 2 people prayed for assurance in their faith, 15 people welcomed hearing the good news but needed more time to consider it, and 18 people accepted Jesus for the first time! What is even more awesome is that there are now over 20 Cambodian young people equipped to share their faith with their family, friends, and peers. For more details about this clinic please check out Catalina Foothills Youth Website at www.irockyouth.com where you can see tons of pictures, watch a skit the US team acted out at the clinic, and even see a team member eating crickets - a Cambodian treat.
Glory to God for what He continues to do. We are so privileged to be able to be a part of it.
