Robert Whiting (Japan)is the author of several highly acclaimed books
on Japanese baseball and contemporary culture. Whiting has written for The New York Times, The Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, and US News and World Report.
He has also written ten books in Japanese, mostly collections. "You Gotta Have Wa," published in 1989, is a work on Japanese society as seen through their adopted sport of baseball, was a Book of the Month Club selection and is required reading in the Japanese Studies departments of many American universities.
"The Meaning of Ichiro" (2004), a sequel, examines the impact of Japanese players in the United States. "Tokyo Underworld" (2000) is being made in to a feature film by Warner Brothers,
directed by Martin Scorsese.

Jack Gallagher (Japan)is the sports editor of The Japan Times. Named a
top 10 columnist by the Associated Press Sports Editors for his work in 2004, he has been a sports journalist in Japan for more than 10 years. He has covered numerous events, both domestically and internationally, including the Super Bowl, World Cup and Olympics. He is president of the Foreign Sportswriters Association of Japan. Gallagher was previously an executive in public relations in both the NBA and NFL Europe. He is a native of San Jose, Calif., and a graduate of the University of Southern California.

Taro Kawakami (Japan)grew up in San Francisco. He returned to
Japan in Junior High School until he graduated from University. His passion for baseball brought him back to the States where he received his masters in Sports Administration at Wichita State. He interned with the Wichita Wranglers (AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) creating pitching / hitting charts for the manager and coaches. He then returned to Japan to become a foreign player assistant with the Seibu Lions. His duties included dealing with the daily activities of Alex Cabrera, Jeff Leifer, Jason Johnson, Alex Graman and Chris Gissell.

Ryan Latham (USA)
Ryan Latham is a graduate of SMWW in the Baseball GM & Scouting Course, Sports Business Management, and Sports PR & Journalism courses. He started working for the Boston Red Sox prior to the 2007 season and is currently a Fenway Ambassador for the club. Among his many varying job responsibilities within the organization, he is heavily involved with pre-game ceremonies, resolving fan issues, and community outreach. He founded and coordinate what he calls the "Business & Baseball" Youth Program. He teaches high school students the fundamentals of successful business through the model of how MLB organizations operate on a day to day basis. Most of his students are from the Dominican Republic, he also has one Japanese student. They are inner city high school kids in Boston.
Willy Badger (Japan), Willy is the SMWW Japan Operations Manager and assists SMWW in Japan with student services, professional sports operations, and all SMWW Japan related operations. Willy Badger is a dynamic award winning multi-lingual entertainer with outstanding communication skills and creativity. Willy Badger has lived and worked in Japan for the last 12 years. His other talents include being a popular columnist for www.golf-in-japan.com and an award winning short documentary filmmaker. He is able to conduct interviews in English, French and Japanese.
Kenji Fukuoka Executive Director: Ike&Sons Inc. Has worked as a producer of Dentsu Advertising Agency. He then joined Gunma Television. He specialized in planning and producing of Sales Promotion events mainly in the area of TV commercials . In 2006 he and two other TV executives formed IKE & SONS.
