Hot Native American Blues/Rock band the Plateros has been burning up the road from coast to coast for the last 4 years. Now, after many live recordings, I’ve just finished Producing their first studio project.

On May 17th Sunday night the Annual New Mexico Music Awards was held at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid Hotel, An awards banquet has been held annually in the spring where awards are presented in a Grammy style ceremony that includes guest presenters and live performances.
This year the Navajo Family band from Tohajiilee Band of Navajo's in New Mexico was given the Best Blues for their new work on the 2nd album the highly acclaimed CD "HANG ON". With 17 yrs old Guitar wiz, Levi on vocals, his cousin Douglas on the drums and his father Murphy Platero who plays the bass guitar and backup vocals.
