The 2006 Louisiana Senior Olympic Cycling Games Cycling Championships, hosted by the Tiger Cycling Foundation was held this past weekend South of Baton Rouge on River rd.  The venue and format of the event was changed from that which had been used in the past, in an effort to improve the  conditions and competition the participants would experience.

Held over two days, the conditions were great over both days of competition, though early morning rains did seem to affect turnout on Sunday.  The Tiger Cycling Foundation looks forward to promoting the 2007 games, and making it an even more successful event.
