Another example of the superb images of a time past. This from Lewis Hine’s series from the 1920s on child labor. The odd thing is that the comments section from some of these images almost bemoan the fact that we didn’t still have these photo opportunities. Of course the reason we don’t have these photo ops is exactly because these images were created. These are examples of how photography can change the world, and I for one do not wish for a return of the days of child labor in the United States, now if only we can get rid of it in the rest of the world.
