While driving around another pasture, we noticed a few large rocks in a sandy area. We joked that maybe it was the remains of another settlement. We went over and found signs of past civilization! We will go back another time to get more artifacts. We also received the maps we ordered from the Texas General Land Office -- but they didn’t tell us much we didn’t already know.
