Tobacco Road
Steps along the road of life
Harrison McClary’s travels and daily grind.

Today was a very busy day.  I started off at 7:30 with a photo shoot in Brentwood of a dental lab where they make parts to use in repairing teeth.  It was a very interesting and fun shoot.  There were many steps that go into this that I never realized.  I made quite a few very nice photos.  Photos ranging from the exterior of the building, to actually making the teeth with grinders, wax, and casting them.

After the shoot I came house at about 1pm and charged my batteries, downloaded my cards and got my gear organized for  a second shoot tonight. I will be covering a convention at the Opryland Hotel for another client.

First I took Ashleigh to her mom’s house when she got home from school then I drove over to Opryland Hotel.  The convention was set up to be like an Oscar Awards show, it was a lot of fun for the people there.  I worked on this shoot from about 5 to 11 pm.

Total today I shot almost 800 frames.  In the old days of film this would have been well over 20 rolls of film.  Difference is, it is now 11:30am on Saturday and I am almost done with the jobs...if film I’d be heading to the lab first thing Monday and probably would not be done until sometime on Tuesday.
