We took PLAYDAY on it’s maiden voyage.  We drove to Lake Wallenpaupack on a cold rainy weekend.  Everyone was cold the entire weekend, and the boat failed - complete motor breakdown.

 

The previous owner had mentioned that “the gauges needed work” but I didn’t realize that meant ‘THE GAUGES ARE NOT HOOKED UP AT ALL” and I didn’t find out until it was too late. Complete oil failure, a motor full of silver shavings...

 

We got stuck in the middle of the lake, and it was cold.  Did I mention it was cold?
