How to Clean a Brass Instrument

Do not use hot water as this will ruin the lacquer.
Rinse through with cold water and dry thoroughly.
Use a flexible cleaning brush to thoroughly clean out the slides and tubing (ex. A)
The valve casings should be carefully cleaned using a valve casing cloth (ex. B) (NOT a standard flexible brush)
Clean the mouthpiece with a mouthpiece brush (ex. C)
The pistons should be carefully removed in sequence (only do one at a time) and dried.
