NS11 AS BRIGHT
AS DAY Welcome
This site is dedicated to the crew of North Sea Class airship NS11 which was lost with all hands off the coast of Norfolk at 01:45 on 15 July 1919.
The story of NS11 and her crew is as fascinating as it is intriguing. Very much a work in progress, the aim of this site is to draw together words and images to tell the story of the record-breaking NS11, her crew and the North Sea airships during, and beyond, The Great War.
The current state of the site would not have been possible without the generous and enthusiastic support of many individuals and organisations such as the Airship Heritage Trust. If you have any information, records or material relating to NS Class airships I would be very interested to hear from you. I would especially like to hear from ancestors of any of the crew of NS11 or any airship of the class during their service with the RNAS or RAF.
