In Memory of a Quail
 
There are dozens of quail that live around my home.  The other day, one poor bird smacked right into my office window.  This morning I photographed the bird, a sort of memorial for this beautiful creature.  The side lighting from the early morning sun helped bring out the textures of the feathers.
