         I bundle the two together: $90/hour or $900/day (10 hours)

What is your primary recording format?

        Pro-Tools HD3 accl w/Apogee A/D converters.

What console/control surface do you use?

        Yamaha DM-2000 (96 faders/inputs)

Do you have a real piano or organ on site?

        Yes, we have a Yamaha C-7 Grand Piano and a Hammond.

Can you record “live” rhythm?  (live drums etc...)

      Yes.  We have plenty of room to track “live”.

How many vocalists can you record?

         We can record up to 12 singers at once in an SATB set-up.

Can you record horns and strings at Westpark Sound?

        Yes, but not both at once.  We can comfortably record strings in a 6-3-2-1 configuration or 6-9 horns/woodwinds.

Can you program or sequence tracks?

        Yes, we program/sequence directly into Pro-Tools and have numerous soft synths and an extensive MIDI set up.

I work in another format. Can you still work with me?

        Most of the time we can easily convert your document to Pro-Tools and then back again to your format.

What vocal mics do you have available on site?

        Sankin CU-41, Neumann TLM-170, CAD E-300, CAD-6000, CAD-7000 ribbon, CAD-8000 tube, AKG 414

What monitors do you use to track and mix?

        Genelec 1031a’s with a Hafler sub & M-Audio BX8s

What plug-ins do you have available for Pro-Tools?

        Reverb One, ReVibe, Auto-tune 5, Pitch-n-Time, Waves Ren. bundle, Massey, Digi-Rack, Jam, PEAK, Stylus RMX, Strike, EZ Drummer, Sample Cell, Digi-Translator and the new “elastic time” properties in Pro-Tools 7.4.  (very cool)

Do you mix at Westpark Sound?

        Yes.  Mixing is one of my favorite things to do.  You can hear samples of my mix work on our website on the “demos” page.

Can you contract musicians for me?

        Yes.  I can help with contracting anyone you may need from the Nashville talent pool.
