We offer 4 band opportunities at West M, each one open to all students capable of playing a prerequisite instrument:
Concert Band: Our primary ensemble, studying classic band literature and performing at school and local events and participating in OMEA contests.
Tornado Marching Band: Our most visible ensemble, active in OMEA-sanctioned contests, local events and school activities.
Jazz Band: An ensemble utilizing traditional big band instrumentation to allow students to explore the incredible world of jazz.
Pep Band: This ensemble’s primary function is to rock the house at varsity boy’s home basketball games.
