Those of us at Western Hunter Magazine all share one prominent weakness; we are gear-heads. It is always something.  One day we are bantering about backpacks, and with little notice the conversation will turn to guns, calibers, expandable broadheads, knives, the newest compound bow, etc… This section of the magazine is dedicated to those who share our curiosity. We promise to bring you the most up-to-date products from top companies such as Swarovski, Zeiss, Leica, and many more. You will also find products that are not as well known, and that other magazines have not featured yet.

    There are many products that you won't ever find in our gear review section.  "If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all."  For the time being we will stick to this adage, but if we find a company that is making outlandish claims about an inferior product then we will expose that product for what it is, or is not.  If you have found a product that you think fellow Western Hunters ought to know about then send us a note and we will get it done! This website is updated often, but subscribing to Western Hunter Magazine is the best way to stay up-to-date.
