Little Buddha

 14.2 hh 9 yr old sport cob gelding.  Wonderful pony for dressage, eventing or trail riding.  He is incredibly responsive to your seat and legs.  He has been shown over fences and in dressage. “Digby” has had a few bad homes and is somewhat untrusting of new people, but is loving and sweet once he gets to know you.  He has very comfortable gaits and will ride out alone or in company.  He DOES NOT drive and has a few minor issues due to his previous abuse.  For example, he is difficult to catch in the pasture unless you have treats and he gets a bit nervous about new people.  He also gets a bit nervous if you are riding in a group and the other horses ride out of site but I have been working on that and he is getting much better about it.  He is easy to ride and would be fine with a confident beginner.  He doesn’t mind if you can’t ride well but needs to know you are going to take care of him and be fair to him.  He is also a wonderful pasture mate for any horse.  If you are looking for a friend to keep another horse company but want something you can pull out of the pasture and ride a few times a year, he is it.  Very gentle with other horses and definitely the bottom of the pack.
