Since Disney loves to price gouge and take advantage of the fact that we who love WDW will obviously accept any ridiculous park ticket price increase or room rate they dream up (and thank them for the privilege of paying it), it is especially important not just to look for the deals, but also for the free stuff.

Disney isn’t giving much away for free, but there are a few fun things, like these cool, customized park maps that you can send for. With interactive maps on the Disney World website you create  what you want them to look like (it’s simple) and then place the order online. No charge.

You get 5 big, sturdy and handsome maps custom made just for you of  the WDW property, the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, highlighted with all of your favorite stuff and stickers to mark things for your planning.

They say they come in 2-4 weeks (mine came in 2) . And hey, even if you have no use for them, you should just go ahead and order them anyway. Because just face it - even if you got a really good code for that room at the Grand Floridian, you’re still over paying so just go ahead and get you some free stuff to even the score.
