House of Blues Orlando
Lauren says that I have the same taste in music as 14 year old skateboarders and maybe she’s right. A couple of years ago I made her go with me to the House of Blues at Downtown Disney to see Yellowcard. (I like them - what’s it to you?) We went to dinner at Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom and then we went to the concert. It was a super magical evening with a whole lot of young teenage boys...and their moms. Hey, I’m not embarrassed. I like who I like.
Everyone was having a great time. Everyone knew all the words to all the songs and was singing along. The band members are Florida natives and so I think there was some native son pride going on there. They have a lot of energy and really put on a good show. What’s not to like?
This is a very roundabout way to talk about how nice it is that there is a House of Blues at Downtown Disney and yet another way to prove that Walt Disney has something for everyone.
Henry Rollins is going to be there when Lauren go to WDW for the Halloween party at the end of the month and that would be really fun! Hey Laur, wanna go? The people at that one probably won’t be there with their moms - except for you, that is.
