A Good Time To Go
Turns out Fall might be my favorite time at WDW. There’s a Halloween party 9 different nights in September and 15 in October, and EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival goes from the end of September until early November so there really is double the fun-o-rama.
For more or less fifty bucks (less if you buy in advance and more if you don’t) you can trick or treat with Mickey and experience the Magic Kingdom with far less people from 7:00 pm until midnight. And it’s so darned cute with the Halloween decorations!
The parade is my favorite ever at WDW, the “Boo-To-You Parade”, and I particularly love the dancing grave diggers.
Remember, you can watch the whole parade here.
The Food and Wine Festival goes around World Showcase and features wine and foods at 27 booths from cities and regions around the world.
There’s music everywhere, and the East to the Beat Concert Series features Spyro Gyra, Otis Day and the Knights, and 16 other acts during the course of the festival. There are wine seminars, culinary demonstrations and all kinds of things that we didn’t do. Give me a few days and I’ll publish the actual Festival Guide but in the meantime the Disney Information Station has a tons of information right HERE so check it out for yourself.
