The UK's WDW Website is More Fun!
I’ve always wondered why you can’t do more at disneyworld.com. It’s often a monster of a website that is not as easy to maneuver as it should be - which surprises me given the money and resources Disney has and how creative they can be.
If I were queen of WDW, I’d have online ADRs (advance dining reservations) and reservations for stuff at the spas and for recreation. And I’d try to make it so that people don’t get the “request for quote unavailable at this time - try back later” message 50% of the time. (Am I the only one this happens to?)
Next, I’d cut out the Hannah Montana videos that pop up without warning when you open certain pages - let the people decide for themselves if they want to get blasted with pop music when they have just gotten out of bed and haven’t had enough coffee.
But the UK site is fun! It’s very interactive and nice to look at. They have suggested 7 and 14 day itineraries for adults and kids, but there is a cool tool for dragging activities over to slots and creating your own that you can save, reload, and print. There are kind of sort of ways to do that on disneyworld.com, but not as fun, harder to find, and not as interactive.
Here’s the link - have fun!
