For us, MNSSHP (Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party) is coming up soon, the end of September. We got lazy and bought boxed costumes for the party but at least this year people will know who we are supposed to be, as opposed to last year when we were these kind of nondescript fairies. This year I’m the evil queen from Snow White

and Lauren will be Ariel, the Little Mermaid.

It’s just a long weekend but I can’t wait - I’m getting there on Wednesday and Lauren’s taking off a Friday from work and flying from NYC Thursday night to meet me. I haven’t made any plans for the day I am there by myself but Lauren and I have made a few restaurant reservations (they call them ADRs).  We’ll do our usual dinner at the California Grill before the party and then mosey on over to the Magic Kingdom for the last few hours of the party.

The parade is spectacular and I found a clip of my favorite part from last year on Youtube. This is the Haunted Mansion part and very creepy - you should watch it - Good job Allen Huffman! Thanks for sharing your video of the “Boo to You” parade.
