Hold on to your hats for this big news - we didn’t stay at the Polynesian last weekend. Lauren I just got back from a little getaway to the Boardwalk Villas, a WDW resort that is considered an EPCOT resort because it is within walking distance of EPCOT. You know how stuck we are on the monorail resorts, but I found a great Annual Pass discounted rate at the Boardwalk and we decided to try it. We didn’t need to pay for passes because we had the annual passes, and we didn’t have to rent a car or pay for air port transportation because we used Disney’s Magical Express, so it was quite the economical weekend, in WDW terms.

The Flower and Garden Festival is going on and we took a million pictures (check back tomorrow for a few), we attended a Pirate and  Princess Party, and we found ourself chatting with everyone. We had dinner at a couple of our favorite places, had a couple of nice bottles of wine, wore our crowns and attended dance parties.

This week and next I will detail the trip, so if you have any brains at all you will not want to miss a word of it. Or a picture. I took a million of them.
