Like any other self respecting WDW fanatic I keep a countdown clock running on my mac’s dashboard, and a countdown calendar on any posts that I make on the message boards like this

to make it easier for anyone who wants to break into my house and steal all my stuff while we are gone. About that, Brian is not coming with us and will be at home, with lots of weapons and that horrible disposition of his, so all you robbers out there, I wouldn’t try anything this time.

Countdown clocks are quick and easy to make at http://www.mickeypath.com/ , but there are lots of others - just do a google search. We Disney people are either a) planning a trip to WDW  or b) at WDW (sometimes both at the same time), but this particular trip was kind of a last minute idea of mine when I saw the codes that were available with my AP rate.  We’re staying at the Boardwalk Inn, a new experience for us, and just two nights, but with the code we got 40% off.

To further economize, we are foregoing the rental car and taking the “happiest bus ride on earth”, Disney’s Magical Express, and we are taking advantage of the very last 3 days of our annual passes, so “free” park passes (actually at this point they are free, because they’ve paid for themselves several times over).

Our annual passes got us discounts for the May 3 Pirates and Princess party but we’ll be spending that saving and much more at dinner before the party - remember? Our 5:30 reservations at the California Grill ? (are you keeping up with this blog or not?)

The countdown is on - and only you Disney people will have any idea how excited I am. The rest of you are reading this and just rolling your eyes.... ( I can see you so knock it off!)
