Fifteen cars showed up to  compete at the East vs West Series Race Saturday night at Bakersfield Speedway.  Robby Sawyer qualified his #98 at 15.367.  The thirty lap main event started all fifteen cars with Sawyer sitting in the third row outside.  Sawyer ran fourth most of the race until lap 21 when he passed #17  of Eric Cimental taking over the third position.  With three laps to go Sawyer picked off the #66 of VanScoy and went onto finish second in the evenings main event with the #2 of Hood taking the win. 

Tonight’s race marked the second caution free main event for the East vs West  Series.
