William C. Sullivan

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

I have a wonderful job that has three important components.

I teach in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

I conduct research that asks, in part, does having everyday contact with green spaces help people function effectively?

I direct the University’s Environmental Council and serve as the President Elect of the Council of Environmental Deans and Directors.

I am trained as a landscape architect and have taught environmental design at Kansas State University, the University of Michigan, and at Illinois. You can click on this link to see my resume.

I live in Urbana with my wife Rebecca Ginsburg, son Eamon, and daughter Anna.

If you’d like to contact me, you can email me or call (217) 244-5156.

To what extent does having everyday contact with green spaces enhance a person’s functioning?
