The American Samoa Women’s Business Center (ASWBC) was established in October 2000 in the United States Territory of American Samoa to assist indigenous Samoan women in achieving greater economic self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship.

Programs and services relevant to the unique environment of American Samoa are offered at the ASWBC. Staff includes trained and certified instructors and counselors who are also literate in the language and culture of Samoa, able to provide significant and sensitive assistance to the women of the Territory. To augment staff, civic-minded professionals from the community volunteer to share their time and expertise with local women at the ASWBC. The atmosphere of mutual support and camaraderie that exists between clients and staff is a distinctive feature of all ASWBC programs and services.
