Ellie had a great check-up this morning.  Dr. Ball is a wonderfully caring doctor and it is fitting for Ellie to have a doctor whose name she can say perfectly!  

 

There are absolutely no concerns with Ellie.  She had an ear infection last week, which was her first in almost 5 months.  I was actually relieved by the diagnosis, because it explained (and the antibiotic did in fact help improve) the increased number of tantrums Ellie was having.  She is healthy and happier now.  

Here are her latest growth stats:

 

Weight: 29 lbs. (83%)

Height*:  34in.    (56%)

Head Circumference:  19in. (71%)

 

 

*I recently read an article (I cannot remember the source) that suggested that adult height can be predicted by doubling a child’s height at age 2.  If that is accurate, then we would expect Ellie to be 68 inches, or 5’8” when she’s full grown.  That seems quite logical!
