I have to say, I have not enjoyed the iweb format and it is part of the reason I haven’t been blogging. Any suggestions for a free blogging site? I liked typepad, but didn’t like paying. My sis says she isn’t in love with wordpress. I did the blogger thing before, maybe I need to go back to that.

I know I’ve change sites quite a bit, so I’m sorry for possibly changing again. But, at this rate, I need to love the set up in order to stay motivated to blog.

School starts in less than a week!

Facebook Surprise

After telling myself I’d never do it (why? I don’t know, just stubborn I suppose) I finally got a facebook account. It can be quite addicting and I think I was afraid I’d spend too much time (more time?) in front of the computer. But, I was drawn in by the desire to reconnect to friends long lost and boy, was it ever the right thing to do.

I found my friend Leia on facebook, friend from my days in Mississippi. She and I started chatting and moments later she told me she was currently in Kolkata, yes talking to me from India. We talked a short time, but she filled me in on a small bit of what her life has become. I’m amazed by her and all she is doing, all she has learned, all of her adventure. Her story has drawn me in. Check out her website, some blog posts are quite explicit, but very important for us to know about. She has much to share.
