Congratulations to Ryan Pullman, Kaylan Jimenez, Sofia Mejia, Esther Yoon, Sarah Kim and Justin Kim. These young artists, all students of P.S. 169, created the winning entries in this year’s “I Love Bay Terrace” poster contest, which was sponsored by the Bay Terrace Community Alliance.
Once again, Cord Meyer Development demonstrated their generosity and support of the community by having the posters made into large banners and prominently putting them on display near the Bay Terrace Shopping Center’s front entrance.
On Tuesday, November 20, 2007, a ceremony to honor the talented and creative students of P.S.169 took place at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. Those in attendance included: State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky, Councilmember Tony Avella, P.S. 169 Principal Annette Kunin, BELL Academy Principal Cheryl Quatrano, BELL Academy Assistant Principal Catalina Marte, P.S. 169 Art Teacher Sandra Kaufman, Pete Galletta of Cord Meyer Development, Members of the Bay Terrace Community Alliance and most importantly of all, the students of P.S. 169.
It was a wonderful day in the neighborhood.
