This superb series of head studies was created by the late, noted architect, artist, and Borzoi enthusiast Curt Johnson. A select number of this series of nine are available for purchase with a percentage of sales benefiting The National Borzoi Rescue Foundation and/or The AKC Canine Health Foundation BCOA Donor Advised Fund.

About the Artist 1941-2007
Curt Johnson was raised in Jamestown, NY. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning, he became an internationally acclaimed architect in the disciplines of both commercial and residential design. Architecture and design aside, he was a wonderful father, artist, sailor, and bon vivant.
His passion for the elegance of the Borzoi “Russian Wolfhound” breed is quite evidently portrayed in each lithograph. He was a proud member of the Midwest Borzoi Club and The Borzoi Club of America and his dedication to his dogs and the community was obvious to all who knew him.
Upon his death, The National Borzoi Rescue Foundation was of great help and comfort. In gratitude, twenty percent of each sale will be donated to enable the continued charitable work of the Foundation.
