Hermetic Rose Window-
This is loosely based on the north rose window of Chartres Cathedral in France. The Tibetan mantra Om Ma Ni Pad Me Hum is around the hexagram. Earth is in the center to remind us of our interconnectedness.

Paper cups and plastic lids choking up the world. Use your own cup! This is dedicated to my coffee cup which allows me to get a cup for a buck at some places just because I have my own cup. Not only that I cut down on a lot of garbage since I tend to have at least a cup a day.
 
I soaked all of the paper for this project in coffee brewed in a french press for a few hours. Some of the sheets were stamped with a french press. They have thus been duly harmonized with the spirit of coffee. Om Coffee Coffee Ma!
That’s also the reason for the irregular edges; some of them tore and lost corners in the soaking process.
