Collateral Damage: Human Sacrifice
This series of sculptures is a memorial for the children who die in war. The military euphemistically calls these deaths “collateral damage’ as though it’s no big deal. As long as it’s someone else’s child who burns who cares, right? While the oil companies and weapons manufacturers rape and pillage the planet to fill their pockets with bank children starve and die, explode and burn for the sake of their greed. If it was your child blown up by a missile or a bomb would you be so quick to support the wars of the rich?
Why are the most fervent supporters of war not fighting it? Because they’re making off like bandits while the rest of us pay. War is hell, not glory, especially for those too small to fight.
